Tetrathlon Intervarsities Results 2010

Team Winners: UCD (L-R): Sophie Dillon, Kate Coleman, Luke McMullan and Arthur Lanigan O'Keeffe

The annual tetrathlon intervarsities were hosted by DIT in Kells, County Meath from the 12th to the 14th of November. There were a record 141 competitors taking part, vastly surpassing last years entry total of 94, which will hopefully be a sign for increased popularity and participation in intervarsity competitions for years to come.

UCD were again victorious in the team event, taking the team title for a fourth consecutive year, equalling the University of Limericks record dating 1998-2001, while in the individual competition, top honours were taken by UCD's first year Elite Academy Athlete, Arthur Lanigan O'Keeffe and reigning champion, Natalya Coyle of Trinity College Dublin. Ireland Crowned as WORLD CHAMPIONS at Equestrian Games in Korea

The Irish Student Riding Team of Nicola Fitzgibbon (TCD), Ben Crawford (QUB), Sara Glynn (DIT), and reserve Suzie Cave (Open University), was triumphant at the World University Equestrian Championships in Korea today (Tuesday), taking both Individual Silver overall and Team Gold overall!
